Stewards visit and mentor inmates imprisoned in Hanover County facilities. Stewards also work with the Diocese and community agencies to assist offenders and their families through programs helping with visits and support groups. The Diocese requires background checks for anyone over the age of 14 if volunteering for this ministry. Time commitment: As needed. Training and formation are provided. |
