Human Concerns

The Church of the Redeemer’s Human Concerns Ministry, inspired by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, strives to be the catalyst within our church community to promote social justice and provide resources, love and compassion toward those in need within our community. Together we seek to help our faith community become more aware of the social justice issues and outreach opportunities in our community. Social Justice calls us to respond to the problems that perpetuate the need for charity. Our Catholic Social Teachings will lead the way to information, strategies and tactics that can result in real social change. As Catholics we are called to reach out, take action and engage in issues relevant to our world. Our Christian Care Ministries flow from the very ministry of Jesus. We extend the compassion of the life of Jesus and the Christian community to those in our midst in need. We provide care and healing, resources, food and services to those experiencing a financial, emotional or spiritual crisis.
