Stewards coordinate the parish project of participating in the construction of a home for a qualified family in need of decent and affordable housing in Hanover County. Houses are built at no profit and the mortgages are interest free. Participants must be 16 years of age or older to participate in construction activities. Time commitment: Meetings scheduled as the need arises to plan fund-raising and construction activities. House construction is completed in 12-14 weeks. |
