Each year, just in time for Thanksgiving and the holidays, the Church of the Redeemer, located in Mechanicsville, Virginia, holds its Annual Craft Bazaar on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This is the Church’s largest annual fund raising activity. There is no admission charge.

Over ninety (90) unique and specialty craft vendors sell handcrafted items such as Wood Crafts, Floral Arrangements and Baskets, Oil Lamps, Aroma Therapy/Herbal Soaps, Jellies and Jams, Stain Glass, Christmas Gifts, Candles, Dolls and Bears, Home Décor, Original Art Work, Hand-Painted Porcelain and Pottery just to name a few.

Breakfast and lunch menus are available, as well as snacks, coffee, juice and soft drinks throughout the day.

A Bake Sale offers hundreds of freshly baked goods and candies and you can also try your luck to win a cake at the Cake Walk.

Our Silent Auction offers merchandise, services and gift certificates that have been donated by area merchants and church members. Anyone may place bids throughout the day with the bidding closed at 2:15 P.M. The highest bidder is not required to be present.

This year we celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a raffle that included as 1st prize a Holland American Cruise for Two. Inside Cabin, Itinerary of your choice to Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico or Canada/New England. Brochure Rate of $2800. Port Charges, Taxes & Transportation are not included. 2nd Prize $300, 3rd Prize $100

There is fun for the young and young at heart! Face painting is available throughout the day. Santa normally makes a visit. The “Secret Santa Shop” is a favorite for all the children. It is an area where children may shop, purchase and wrap gifts for family and friends. All items are priced at $1 or less and include gift-wrapping. Sorry, no adults allowed!
