(click image above for more details)

DISCOVERY RETREATS (9th & 10th Grades)

Discovery is a peer-ministered retreat for 9th and 10th grade students which encourages teenagers to discover their own identity and their relationship with God. The retreat is incredibly dynamic with talks, small group interaction and community-building experiences. It is based on the steps of evangelization and helps the young person know Jesus in faith! This is a great opportunity for freshman and sophomores to grow in their faith. As a reminder, these retreats should not be used as make-up for a Confirmation retreat. Click here for more info & application!

CHRISTIAN AWAKENING RETREATS (11th & 12th Grades)

Christian Awakening is a peer-ministered retreat which enables the teenagers to come to know and experience Christ, and to see him in themselves and others. Youth are invited to explore ways of serving others and becoming better, more fully committed Christians. Christian Awakening (CA) builds on the foundational elements of the Discovery Retreat and is great for forming leaders in a parish community. This retreat is for 11th or 12th graders who are ready to live their faith in a profound way. As a reminder, these retreats should not be used as make-up for a Confirmation retreat. Click here for more info & application!

Save the date for our 4-day camp experience for young men who wish to begin discerning a vocation. The Quo Vadis experience is meant for high school guys who are seeking a greater understanding of who God has created them to be and how He is calling them to serve His Church as they continue through their high school and young adult years. Visit the Catholic Diocese of Richmond website for all the details and registration forms.

Fiat Days: July 26-28, 2017 at the Shalom Retreat Center

Save the date for our second Fiat Days retreat for young women! Women who wish to serve God and the Church are often faced with a double challenge of discerning God’s call in their hearts and then also discerning a particular community in which to answer that call. Fiat Days will be a chance for young women to meet women religious from various communities and learn more about what it means to live as a religious sister. Details will be available soon! Check the Catholic Diocese of Richmond page for future updates.
